Kenderfrau Quiz

Do you have any idea what this is?
I would love to read your thoughts on this object!

So please leave a comment and you can win a really nice present :-)
[mum and dad, you can do this by clicking on the word "comment" underneath this post ;-)]
Next wednesday I will select what I think is the best comment.
It doesn't have to be a correct answer, so everyone can have a go!

Sunlight

The quality of light is changing due to the position of the sun this time of year.
It gives you a different perspective on your surroundings.

For instance this presumably smooth wall is quite rough.
The floodlight is creating a perspective view revealing those normally unseen details.

This change in the amount of sunlight is one thing I like about the changing seasons!

First Frost

The first frost hit us overnight.

We have a bunch of tender plants so yesterday we ended up moving
treeferns, pelargoniums and African lillies to a safer place.

Weary Eyes

This butterfly must be exhausted by now, it landed next to my feet :-)
Peacock butterfly hibernates over winter before laying it's eggs in early spring.

Hunting Mobli

It looked like he caught something so hopefully this wasn't the end of our Frits.

But it was something much bigger! Mobli is doing such a great job in our garden.

It seems obvious he has specialized in mole hunting :-)

Daddy Donkey

 Probably a bit suspicious because I'm a female :-)

DDW I

Thrilling ideas, mind-blowing experiments and extraordinary collaborations.
There is more, much more to Dutch design than meets the eye.
Which is exactly what you'll experience during Dutch Design Week 2012.

Fern

Due to its colour this fern is one of my favourite indoor plants.

Intuition

I got a request from a friend who needed some visuals........

After two weeks of rationalism, I finally followed my intuition and bought an iNDiViDUALS piece.
It's huge, incredibly warm and it has my favourite colour.
Just like Sil, I will need some extra warmth to get trough the upcoming winter :-)

Colourful Fall

Yesterday we went cycling. The temperature was pretty mild for this time of the year.

Woodpecker

This Great Spotted Woodpecker was visiting our barn.
Hopefully he was only searching for some insects.
A big hole in one of the oak beams would be a shame :-)

We have a birdfeeder with sunflower seeds and he likes those as well.

There are a lot of different types of woodpeckers.
